Founded in 2003

DuraShield Roofing & Contracting is a full-service residential roofing, commercial roofing and multi-family roofing contractor.

DuraShield Roofing was started by Anthony Walsh in Appleton, WI in 2003. Anthony worked for a few roofing contractors during the summer months while attending college for Business Administration and Marketing. Anthony always wanted to start his own company and after 3 years of being is sales for a local roofing company and loving what he did, he decided to drop out of college and pursue starting DuraShield Roofing & Contracting.

In 2007 Anthony met his wife Kim, who has an accounting background and she started working at DuraShield in 2008. Anthony and Kim got married in 2015 and now have 2 children, Jaclyn and Noah.

In 2015 we started providing roof replacements and repairs on cedar shake roofs and DaVinci Composite cedar shake roofs in North Barrington and Hawthorne Woods. We know have clients and offer roofing services in Lake Forest, Bannockburn, South Barrington, Lake Barrington, Barrington, Barrington Hills and some surrounding suburbs.

Our roof install technicians undergo continuous training to keep their knowledge of best practices up-to-date so we can guarantee the quality of our workmanship. We only use materials from the top US manufacturers for our roofing projects to ensure that we install the best roofing systems available.
We are certified installers with GAF Roofing, Owens Corning and are Masterpiece Installers for DaVinci Roofscapes Composite cedar shakes and slate.
